Position Overview
The Account Manager / Estimator plays a key role in helping customers move from initial conversation to completed project and ongoing success. This position combines relationship-building, estimating, system design, internal coordination, and customer support follow-through. You’ll work closely with clients and installation teams to deliver a smooth experience from quote to completion.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in account management, estimating, inside sales, or related client-facing roles who is comfortable with technology and excited to grow into higher-level technical sales, project management, or leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Build accurate quotes and system designs for CCTV and access control projects.
- Guide clients from the first conversation through installation and beyond.
- Follow up on estimates and help convert opportunities into long-term clients.
- Coordinate with installation teams to support smooth project execution.
- Train customers on Platinum CCTV software and ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Act as a bridge between customers and technical support to solve challenges quickly.
- Create a “red carpet” customer experience from start to finish.
- Help strengthen long-term customer relationships through responsiveness, clarity, and follow-through.
Qualifications
- Experience in account management, estimating, inside sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong communication skills and confidence leading client conversations.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized across multiple projects and priorities.
- Comfort with technology and learning technical products and systems.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a sense of ownership and follow-through.
- A customer-focused mindset and a genuine interest in team success.
- Ability to work on-site in Warrenville, IL.
Bonus Attributes
- Experience with CCTV, access control, low-voltage systems, or construction-related estimating.
- Background in technical support, solution selling, or client retention.
- Interest in system design and technical problem-solving.
- Ability to balance relationship management with detail-driven project coordination.

Compensation
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour plus performance-based bonuses
